Christy Swain

Christy Swain is a 2nd grade teacher in Arlington County with 23 years of experience in the classroom. Holding a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, she has cultivated a strong foundation in education and a passion for helping young minds develop a love for learning. Christy is committed to integrating the arts into her lessons, believing that theater and all forms of artistic expression help children build confidence while fostering creativity and critical thinking.

Outside of the classroom, Christy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. She finds joy in gardening, home projects, reading, cooking, and listening to live music.
