Ruth Ruskin

Ruth has been a psychotherapist in private practice 40 years. She's an owner/manager of three shopping centers. She is the immediate past President of JSSA, a large nonprofit human service organization serving the greater Washington area, and will soon serve on the board of the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies of the U.S. and Canada.

Ruth was a “theater mom” who had a daughter who started what has been a lifetime side career in theater arts, music, writing and directing with theater experiences in childhood. She strongly believes this medium inspires creativity, self-assurance and collaboration, and provides children with a social experience that supports growth.
