Summer Camps

Summer camps are where imagination takes center stage! ETC camps offer a fun, supportive environment to explore acting, storytelling, improvisation, filmmaking, and more. Guided by professional Teaching Artists, campers build confidence, foster creativity, and form lasting friendships.

Much Ado About Nothing:

A Shakespeare Camp

June 30 - July 11 (No Camp July 4)

Bring classic theatre to life with a musical twist! Use your imagination, collaborate with your peers and perform William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing combined with original songs, set to contemporary music. Campers will gain a wide range of acting skills through both rehearsal and participation in specialized workshops including characterization, script analysis, voice and diction, and more! Friends and family are invited to an end-of-camp performance Friday, July 11th.

Campfire Tales!

June 30 - July 3 (No Camp July 4)

Imagine the fire crackling and the wind in the trees as we act out our own campfire tales! Through improvisation, storytelling, art projects, theatre games & rehearsals, campers learn acting basics. Students will collaborate with peers and discover the joy of performing. A sharing will be held Thursday, July 3rd.

ETC-on-Film

Where filmmaking starts at ETC-on-Film! Our youngest ETC-on-Film campers will get a chance to be both behind the camera and on the screen. All campers write and storyboard films while learning filmmaking techniques and watching examples of good film. Then they form production teams and are in charge of shooting their own film! Finally, they edit their film to show at the final screening. Family and friends are invited to see campers on the big screen on Friday afternoon, July 11th.

Intro to Film is an ETC STEAM Camp.

Falls Church Camps

Dancing, acting, singing! Campers will collaborate with professional artists to create a dynamic original performance while learning skills in musical theatre movement and vocal technique. This camp is specially geared for campers of all levels of experience even if they are new to performing! Family and friends are invited on the last day Friday, July 11th to see them perform! This camp is perfect for new or returning campers. Falls Church Summer Camp registration opens Feb. 18 for residents & Feb. 25 for non-residents.
